Upholstered Furniture Cleaning
Upholstered furniture cleaning is a very specialized craft, with great emphasis on detail. Modern upholstery fabrics require special equipment, techniques and drying facilities. Therefore they are best treated in a factory environment for maximum claaning and spot removal results. |
It requires 5 separate cleaning processes:
1. Loose dust and grit are removed with compressed air and a special vacuum.
2. The fabric is analyzed for the proper cleaning procedure.
3. Spots and smudges are analyzed and removed as a separate operation with special spotting agents.
4. All cleaning procedures are followed by a steam rinse and pressure extraction for maximum soil removal.
5. Woodwork is polished, skirts are steamed and the pieces are wrapped in plastic. |
